A is for April, Autism and Amblyopia

April is National Autism Awareness month.

I've written before about the "link" between Autism and Amblyopia, which are both neuro-developmental. In my family, we have a different link between the two disorders. My daughter, Belle, who has Amblyopia is the little sister of the most amazing big brother, Alex, who has Autism. I talk a lot about Autism over at my other blog, The Bon Bon Gazette.

In honor of Autism Awareness month, Belle wore a puzzle piece ribbon in her hair today. No patch to match - YET. I think I just might have to make her one.
