Yo Gabba Gabba & Glasses

Have you seen Yo Gabba Gabba?

This is by far one of the craziest kids shows I've ever seen and honestly I used to find it a little bit creepy! BUT... my kids LOVE it. I am sure it has to do with all the music and the silly monsters, and lets face it DJ Lance may look a little out there but he is FUN. Plus, he wears glasses.

" I wear glasses too! and look how cool I am! *wink/sparkle*" -DJ Lance

In the "Differences" episode:
The gang celebrate their differences. I'm From Barcelona perform "Just Because It's Different." Other songs include "Razzle Dazzle"; Don't Say Mean Things"; and "All My Friends Are Different."

The episode talks about celebrating differences and accepting friends. In this episode, Muno, gets glasses (glass?) but doesn't like wearing the glasses. In the end, Muno gets a contact lens.

The acceptance message in this episode is great but the folks over at Little Four Eyes hit the nail on the head that its a bit of a disappointment that Muno couldn't have happily worn glasses. Hrmph!

The better role model with glasses in Yo Gabba Gabba is absolutely DJ Lance.

  1. There is an absolutely wonderful song and music video by I'Kona called "Glasses" in this episode. I've searched and haven't been able to find it, but it was by far my favorite part. Totally agree with you that DJ Lance is a great role model in glasses.

  2. Well, a kind of crazy, creepy role model. But Zoe loves him.
